As a hypnotherapist who specializes in weight loss, I can’t tell you how often I have heard these desperate words, “I have to get this weight off" and they don't even realize or know that there are psychological weight loss blocks that they have to romove first .

Whether holding back tears or letting the tears fall, some of my clients have shared with me heartbreaking stories of their fight against their weight.

I relate to the struggle that so many of us have had with food and weight.

However, having struggled myself with food addiction (including alcohol addiction which I consider to be just another form of sugar addiction) and having helped so many others overcome this difficulty,

I have come to see certain patterns of thought that need to be released before freedom can be found.

1

weight loss block #1: Rebellion...

“No one is going to tell me what to eat.”

This line of thinking is backward.

There is absolutely no freedom in eating whatever you want whenever you want.

The perception that living this way makes you free is a complete illusion.

How do I know?

Let’s look at the big picture.

Eating whatever you want, whenever you want, up to this point, has led you to misery.

You are ashamed of your body and uncomfortable in your own skin.

You have become the victim of a greedy, manipulative food industry that has convinced you that your happiness lies in the next sweet/salty/oily taste you put on your tongue.

This industry has reduced your life to an emotional tug-of-war between eating anything at any time and being on a stringent, restrictive, intolerable diet.

2

weight loss block #2: Denial...

“I like myself exactly as I am.”

I want you to love yourself.

Self-hate is completely counterproductive and extremely painful.

However, the challenge of completely accepting your overweight condition as inevitable, is that it causes you to stop giving your subconscious mind the message to make any changes.

There is a thin line between self-acceptance, which is absolutely essential to happiness, and apathy.

If you were stuck being overweight due to a medical reason, then, yes, it only makes sense to accept it.

But the truth is that most of us, are overweight because our eating habits are not healthy.

The weight is simply a reflection of our lifestyle.

There’s so much in life that is not in our control.

What you put into your mouth and how you live your life is something that you absolutely can change, and when you do, your energy and happiness will be so much greater.

Why deny that possibility by telling yourself that you don’t care?

Tell yourself the truth:

You matter and your choices make a huge difference to your happiness and quality of life.

3

Weight Loss Block #3: Fear...

What are you afraid of?

Deep inside many of us are afraid that life will be harder than it already is.

We don’t want to lose our greatest source of pleasure or “fun.” This makes perfect sense!

After all, you want to be happy.

Many of your food escapades involve socializing with others and bonding over brunches, dinners, and cocktail hours.

What if I told you that you aren’t going to have to give up anything?

Imagine enjoying wedding celebrations and holiday festivities more than ever.

I am speaking from my own personal experience when I tell you that when you discover (and hypnosis is a wonderful tool to help you connect to your inner Truth) what your ideal eating plan is, to live your life free from food and sugar addiction, you can enjoy food more than ever.

The great news is that:

There is nothing to fear because when your body comes into balance, you will actually crave the healthy foods that nourish and sustain you.

And when you are socializing, even though you will enjoy every bite you eat, the pleasure will come from connecting with other minds and hearts rather than being completely distracted by the menu.

Weight Loss Block #4: Pessimism...

“It’s too late for me.”

No, it’s not!

Rhonda was in her sixties when she came to me to remove her weight loss blocks. She had struggled her whole life. Through the gastric bypass hypnosis, she was able to lose 100 pounds.

Darryl was 55 when he went through my hypnosis weight loss program. He lost 123 lb. and has kept it off for over ten years.

Julie Evans lost 120 pound with the same method and here life transformed completely (full story here)

I have so many examples of people who battled with their weight for decades before they discovered the inner secrets to success.

The key to achieving ultimate victory is simply a matter of connecting to a deeper level of strength, motivation, and inner power, within yourself.

Self-hypnosis is a way for you to connect to your deepest resources.

You must never give up.

By shining a light on the hidden emotions and thought patterns that have kept you stuck, you can emerge from the limited hold they have had on you.

You can release them and transform your relationship with yourself.

The excess fat on your body is only a symbol...

The way to happiness is realizing that your weight is not a curse or a punishment, but rather an opportunity to know yourself and step into your deeper power.

By changing your thinking about yourself, food, and your purpose on this earth, it can become easier and easier to remove all your weight loss blocks and throw away all the diets that have put chains on you.

At the same time, it can actually be easy to eliminate all those foods that have kept you addicted and stuck.

When you begin to hold a higher vision for yourself, you can re-claim the highest level of mental, physical, and emotional health possible for you.

Isn’t it time to tell yourself,

“I deserve to be happy? Happiness is connected to the love that I am. I am vibrant, energized, and fully alive!” Yes!!
